Eleni Prillaman

Director of Student Media & Media Fellows | General Manager - WLUW

Eleni Prillaman became the General Manager of WLUW 88.7 FM at the School of Communication in January 2015. In this role, she collaborates with the student executive team to oversee the daily operations of WLUW, Loyola's college radio station. The station, which features both student and community DJs, broadcasts independent music to over three million listeners in the Chicago area. In 2020, Prillaman was promoted to Student Media Manager, expanding her role to oversee the operation of The Loyola Phoenix and Rambler Sports Locker. In 2025, she became the Director of Student Media & Media Fellows.

Prillaman earned her B.A. in Radio-TV Communication from Valparaiso University, where she also DJed for the college's radio station, WVUR. She went on to complete her M.A. in Communication and Leadership Studies, with a certificate in Servant-Leadership, at Gonzaga University. Her career includes positions at Radio Disney, Paramount (formerly Viacom), where she worked with MTV Radio and mtvU, as well as serving as WPCD Radio Director at Parkland College.

Outside of work, Prillaman enjoys attending live music events, spending time with her kids, and taking trips to Disney.
