Zakary Clements

Assistant Professor


Zakary received his PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kentucky and more recently worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Washington University in St. Louis. Zakary's research interests focus on the experiences of transgender, nonbinary, and/or gender-expansive people, specifically about how well-being can be improved through avenues such as promoting resiliency and authenticity. Zakary has presented his research for the American Psychological Association and the Society for the Scientific, and his work has been published in the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity, Journal of Counseling Psychology, Journal of Prevention and Health Promotion, Professional Psychology: Research and Practice, and the Journal of Applied Social Psychology.
